It didn't take much longer for the demon deer woman to reach the front gate where the rest of the team had been waiting, the presence of her Sense Nanika; this brought a smile to her as she was glad to see 'good' familiar face outside of Mito on the mission she was was informed of. Though there was one face she wasn't too thrilled on seeing on the mission but at that point in time she had to accept regardless. As such, she'd look over to Okami with a sassy eye roll before turning around to wait for Mito to show up.
Once Mito showed up at the gate, the sensei of Kyaro, Mito, and Sayuki will begin to announce the situations regarding the amount of people as well as going into further detail of the mission. "Alright, for starters. You may realize that there aren't as many of us as there was supposed to be. A few others backed out due to the fear of fighting 2 creatures at the same time, that comparable to the 9 bijuu in both size and power. Ivy on the other hand has other duties to fullfill back in the estate regarding the substances of their clan secrets. This will be the first time the 3 of us have been on a mission together in quite some time, and as you can see... Kyaro is not here with us today, instead he's sent Okami of the Kitsune Clan. Unfortunately we don't have time to get aquainted with each other so I will fill you in on the details as we make our way to our destination." With that statement finished, Nanika headed out of the village gates with Sayuki close behind her, once the other 2 members of the team followed them. The mission will have finally been set into motion. "We'll be heading for Emono Town, which is located towards the northeast of the village. The time between here and there is about an hour and a half if we rest, otherwise we can shorten that time to 30 minutes if we hurry. But there may be others heading there as well so stay focused on don't lose sight of the mission. Is that understood?" With a relaxed expression complimented by a smile, Sayuki nodded her head to Nanika's words. "Yes, Sensei!"
Arrived at the gate with Okami and her dear sister Sayuki with their sensei and mother Nanika standing there waiting for them then brief them regarding the people that were supposed to come which she rolled her eyes in annoyance knowing full well they'll need more arms for this mission but shrugs and walks out with everyone to the gate but looks over at Okami "Okami of the Kitsune Clan, I've heard tales regarding your people while other rumors say you are descendants of the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox Kurama" she says in a low voice to the tall male while keeping up with them. Having encountered an actual Kitsune Kin is something she has been plotting for some time but never knew where this lone survivor was given he is always off on missions. Still, she hopes she gets to see him in action but is even more excited to see her sister and others in action again since it's been months since they were together like this including Kyaro.

Okami would follow after the rest of his temporary team, and would nod in response to Nanika's explanation of their mission parameters, signaling that he understood. Since it had been some time since he last saw any of them in any capacity, Okami knew it would be a good idea to refamiliarize himself with these individuals, starting with humoring Mito's curiosity. "Curious to know more about my kind, eh? Well, the truth is that nobody can say for sure where the Kitsune came from or who our ancestor really is. Even the Kitsune Yokai my clan was born from no longer remember our origins from that far back. However, I can tell you for a fact that Kurama is not that ancestor despite the fact he's very much a Kitsune Yokai himself regardless of his own origins." Okami said, making sure to keep his voice low just in case there happened to be unwanted eavesdroppers. He had also left a subtle hint for the real reason he was tagging along even though he technically didn't have to. It was subtle enough that the full reasoning wouldn't become clear until after everything was said and done. "Now then, if nobody minds I would like to speed things up a bit and get this over with. I have more things I have to do after this and not a whole lot of time to do it in. So do try to keep up, I'll even race you there~" Okami would give a small, playful smirk as he began using his signature [Flash Step Technique] that he developed with the [Body Flicker Technique] as its base. He would disappear in a flickering motion, and only those who already knew the mechanics behind this technique and could keep up with him would know he hadn't just disappeared... He was moving at high speeds, much faster than any Body-Flicker could allow. Such a thing required a body strong enough to withstand that kind of speed and the chakra control to empower their body on such a level at the absolute minimal possible cost.
With the team making their way through the woods and conversation going on between both Mito and Okami, this was a good chance for Sayuki and Nanika to get a little more information on Okami. However, right after the exchange of words, Okami had suddenly disappeared which in the moment was probably the biggest mistake he could have made. Sayuki didn't work well with Okami to begin with which was something they needed to get together before they reached their destination, and Nanika needed to understand more of his abilities to devise a proper plan for the team. "I don't think your friend understands the importance of teamwork when we're going into unknown territory. If he gets caught by the wolverines or any others who may be going after them as well, it's going to be his own fault. If Kyaro was here as well then he'd have someone with him. But none of us are fast enough to keep up with that technique he's using. It greatly enhances his speed, and none of us have the physical capabilities to keep up with him with out base speed. Even our enhanced speed won't be fast enough, let's just hope he doesn't run into anyone on the way there. Or better yet, I pray he doesn't get caught by those creatures." With that, Nanika did pick up the pace with Sayuki following right behind, however she wasn't near as fast as Okami or Kyaro. Ontop of her just returning from a mission; Nanika was running off of no rest and limited ability at the moment. "Okami and Kyaro had a habit of not thinking before they did certain things, as long as it seemed fun then it was worth it. Though i'm glad to see Kyaro matured since then, but Okami still sppears to be the same hyperactive Kitsune as always. We may not get along, and I may not know much about his abilities but he IS strong. If he runs into enemy shinobi he should be able to hold his own, maybe. But as far as the two creatures go, I don't see him making it out alive on his own. Regardless, his scent is disappearing at a very rapid pace so I won't be able to sense him in a few moments." Sayuki grew a bit frustrated but knew if she lost her nerves things weren't going to end well for anyone, and that could also have a negative effect on the mission. Plus, if something were to happen to Mito, she'd have to deal with the consequences after telling Kyaro what lead to her death. Same goes for Nanika Sensei and Okami. Regardless, all the 3 of them could do right now was hope the Kitsune could keep himself hidden or hold his own until they caught up to him.. just incase.
"The ground....it seems to be telling me something... someone is heading our way. It's an incredible speed... Speedsters are generally the dumbest. Maybe, we can intercept him to see if there is loot on this one. At this rate, this individual is maneuvering at breathtaking speeds. How about we slow him down? We can use the loot. Within five seconds he will be here let us prepare, Oil."
Clapping both hands together, the brown-eyed man who wore his aged headband began the action. The light surrounding the environment within a three-hundred feet radius as well as in width began to recede into a dimer shade. It served to reduce the visual capability, of whoever entered the technique's area of influence. Unbeknownst to the former shinobi, the person heading in his direction was utilizing a technique requiring chakra to vitalize his person in a capacity. A consequence of this was that chakra sensory was disabled, for he was not in chakra sensory mode. A blind dog running into a trap. The technique had completed within 3 seconds, leaving two seconds before the arrival. However, what was the purpose of the light in the area dimming down? Regardless, the Whispering Night began to whistle silently into the wind that naturally blew in the forest.
Now, Oil kneeled close to the surface with both of his palms touching the surface. As his chakra spread within the exact radius and width that his partner's jutsu covered, the ground and the tree's nature seemingly transformed into adhesive mud. As this happened, only 1 second remained until the arrival of the person they were to loot. Oil released one hand from the ground, to grab upon his seemingly looking aged umbrella and raised it above his head in case their actions were not successful. Parallel to this was the Whispering Night, with his adjacent hand holding a wooden canon upwards in the sky. These two individuals were known as the Yin Yang Brothers and had been listed in the Bingo Books. Each of these men was skilled, former jonin. Unbeknownst to them, Okami Kitsune was heading in their direction.

Being unable to stop himself in time at the speed he was going, Okami had been caught on the very edge of the affected area despite his eyes being able to clearly see the ground and trees changing to another substance. Naturally, he was quite irritated for committing what was - in his mind - a rookie mistake and was already in the process of getting himself out of his sticky situation... With the pun being as literal as it was intentional. With his hands being little more than a blur, Okami would form the Tiger, Ram, Snake, and Monkey hand signs before clapping his hands together. Without uttering a word, Okami would form a full-body shroud of [Curse Technique: Karmic Deconstruction], effectively rendering the substance keeping him in place entirely useless as well as destroying what was around his feet on a molecular level, leaving a hole in the ground that would only be filled with the passage of time several feet in diameter and roughly a foot in depth just to be sure since he had no idea exactly how deep the adhesive effect went into the ground.
Okami would kneel to the ground after moving just a few steps outside of the affected area (mostly out of sheer spite) and allow himself to sense his targets after deactivating his Karmic Destruction shroud, and sensing them was easy since they were only about 300 feet away from him... As a result, he was able to sense everything about them, even details that other ninja would consider insignificant. Clan, Homeland, Emotions, Intentions, etc. You name it, it was now known to Okami and he could even sense the nature of the technique used to stop him. "So, the Yin-Yang Brothers finally show up. They're a familiar name in the bingo book, but I'll admit that I was expecting something... More. Especially from two experienced former Jonin. But for them to become little more than common bandits? Really? REALLY?" It was safe to say that Okami was entirely unamused and that these two weren't even worth killing to him, no matter how good they were. He was extremely thankful that he kept all his valuables sealed away, even his wallet, and that he had failsafe's in place in the event anything was ever stolen.
Without bothering to stand back up, Okami would deactivate his sensory mode and place his hands on the ground and send a current of his Karmic Destruction jutsu directly into the center of the affected area where he knew the two Missing-Nin were provided they didn't move from their position. It would be a powerful explosive current that had enough juice to detonate the entire 600ft area, and would do so the instant it got there, and it was moving at speeds equivalent to what he himself would if he were to put all his concentration into just his Flash Step technique since it was, after all, a Lightning-based technique. It was also rigged to detonate with that same amount of power upon contact with any form of opposition made by the two Missing-Nin. Being on the very edge of the large area, he would still have plenty of time to get away from the blast radius which was exactly what he would do by using his [Flash Step Technique] to move backwards towards his team. Okami would unseal a chakra replenishing pill and eat it since while he was far from being out of chakra with his control being as good as it is, he had still used a fair bit and had a feeling he would need the pill.

Mito sighs seeing this man leave them all behind to speed up their journey to capture two large creatures, so for precaution, she closes her eyes and then reopens them revealing her Nisshokugan in full display "I can see his chakra and tell where he is, judging by the other signatures near him he's quite busy" she chuckles not even bothering to help Okami for his misfortunes and kept walking to her destination but kept her dojutsu active for some time but notice the kitsune is coming back "huh, look like he coming back" deactivates her eyes and kept to sensory since he's displaying a bit too much power wherever he is, this action wasn't necessary at all since it is only like what? two people from where she's sensing them? if it were her in that situation, Mito would've handled the assailants with extreme prejudice and little sympathy once she is done with them but she's not everyone.
Sayuki had already known that something was going to eventually happen after Okami had split from the group, especially since she was attacked many times around this area by bandits when she was younger and exploring the land with her older sister. After hearing Mito speak out on what was going on, her suspicions had just been confirmed and Okami was in fact near others. As such, Sayuki calmy spread her chakra over a wide area to remain as close to the Kitsune as she could while keeping her own presence concealed from the possible enemies they may run into once they catch up to him. During this time, she was perfectly able to properly relay what was going on with Okami to Nanika and Mito. "From what I can tell, Mito is correct. There are 2 other shinobi there along with Okami and they seem to be standing still at the moment. However, depending on what they want Okami might try to fight them alone. Both of them seem to be about as strong as he is if not stronger. If we hurry, we'll be able to reach them in about 5 minutes." After finishing her statement, Sayuki began to run a bit faster, picking up the pace to the point where dust kicked up and the ground received slight dents with each step she took.
Nanika followed in her footsteps, though her steps were more quiet and gentle to the touch and didn't cause any crazy kick up like Sayuki's. "Alright, you two seem to be very familiar with Okami, much more than I am. But from the looks of it, he's similar to Kyaro in some ways in terms of his spirit, but he lacks heavy in teamwork which is something that will be very important on this mission. Now I could be wrong, as i have been in the past about you Sayuki, but we'll see what happens from here on out." The situation could be bad if one of them ended up dead before they even reached the mission. "Alright ladies, let's hurry and catch up with Mr. Kitsune."
Their course of action was not going as smooth as they hoped, as this was observed by analyzing the distance ahead of them. The target had managed to land at the edge of the assault’s radius, it was not going to be as easy to catch this fish. This was a more intelligent individual who seemingly would not bite the hook as hoped. However, that did not mean that either of the brothers would give up on capturing the target.
More information was observed by Oil, as he was able to see that the target had managed to utilize a technique that effectively negated the earth-style technique from consuming the target. In fact, the earth-style seemingly was obliterated which intrigued Oil. A challenge was welcomed, though it did not stop the mud creator from continuing his assault towards the shinobi. With his large and muscular palm against the surface, more chakra poured inside the mud the nigh moment of noticing the shroud protecting the user. As the target had taken the time to enter chakra sensory mode, Oil was in the process of completing what had been intended.
The additional chakra poured into the earth manipulated the current adhesive mud to extend its range, however, as the technique grew in mass the manipulation of chakra formed a head of a dragon at the edge of the initial radius. Forming a snout at awe-inspiring speeds, a mouth gaping with wooden fangs formed. As the dragon’s head grew it did so rapidly, attempting at the moment during Okami’s sensory surveillance to crunch its wide mouth across the man’s upper body before the man could switch out from chakra sensory mode. The speed at which this happened was incredible, and the amount of chakra and control of it was a skill of Oil. The man had pressed the tip of his apparent umbrella above the mud, allowing the tip to carefully hover open as with the pressure of his thumb upon the bottom allowed the tip to open from the cap. Pouring inside of the mud that was continually flowing towards the dragon that would eventually grow into enormous size, the smell of gasoline was filling the construct. Should Okami have no physical means of escape, considering the crater his own technique put himself too would have hard-pressed him to counter. With restricted mobility around, as well as a dragon blocking your frontal the only way to maneuver now would have been backwards.
Despite all of the action, the sound coming from the Whispering Night stretched further as the amplification of his voice stretched far and directionally. Away from Oil but into the forest before the user, its reverberation transporting an alluring tune. If the dragon manage to capture Okami, it would hold him in place while allowing the adhesive mud to coil and restrict around him as if in a coffin but allowing his head to hover above.
